From Behind

This is one of my favorite pictures. It is just a reminder that we can get through whatever is thrown our way. As long as we stick together.

This past year has been a challenge and a blessing. We went from thinking that life was great, to having our lives change within a matter of a few min.

Trent has gone from working in the corporate world to working for an Independent. Which he loves. He knows what it's like to work 9-6, 5 days a week. He enjoys the time that he now has with his family, and wouldn't trade it for anything. He also enjoys his new calling the the sunday school presidency. (yeah for sundays off!)

I am a Full-Time Mom. I enjoy cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, playing taxi and many other responsibilities that come with my joy. This past year has made me see the things that are important to me. The things that matter most, and yes they are the little thing that I get to do for my family. My family is everything to me!! In my spare time (what there is of it) I also enjoy taking dance, as well as being the mia maid advisor.

Ashlee is excelling in school. She is in a math class with all 6th graders this year. She thought that 5th grade math was just to easy. She made High Honor Roll for first quarter this year. (And I'm sure she will the rest of the year). She holds a 3.9 GPA for the year. She also enjoys dancing, and playing with friends.

Sara has come so far this year. She really likes school. She also made High Honor Roll for first quarter. (And will also continue to do so.) She has a 3.5 GPA for the year. She really enjoys dancing as well as playing with her friends.

Madison enjoys being social. She wants to be everyone's friend. She is learning to read, and can memorize real fast. She is also doing well in school. She enjoys dance, but most of all loves playing with friends.

Mckinzee loves being with mom. She will do whatever she can to spend time with her. She is also enjoying the time that she now has with her dad. You can say that "she has her dad rapped around her finger". She has the cutest smile that melts everyone's heart. And it is hard to say no that face.

As a family we have enjoyed the move that we have made to Caliente NV. It has been a blessing for us. We are grateful for all of the friends and family that have helped us through this last year!!

Sara and Mckinzee

Sara and Mckinzee enjoy being together. They enjoy watching movies, and yes usually Sara lets Mckinzee choose. They also have a love for the outside. Sara has become Mom's big helper. She is always there doing what needs to be done. With just a little complaining. Mckinzee is known as Mom's shadow. Wherever I go, you will usually find her. (Yes that does mean NO private time for mom.) The only break mom gets is when Mckinzee goes to preschool. Which she has learned to love, for the most part. Sara is in the 3rd grade this year.

Ashlee and Madison

Ashlee and Madison enjoy spending time together. Ashlee is always willing to be a great big sister. Madison is constantly reminding us that she is there and could use some attention. (As though we could forget). The girls enjoy playing outside, and hate to come in. Ashlee is in the 5th grade this year and Madison is in the 1st. They sure are getting big. They are such a big help to there mom, and do what needs to be done. (ok most of the time.)

Family Picture

I know it has been forever. So I'm finally making some changes to the Blog.

Here is the latest Family Photo.

Thanks to my amazing sister Whitney for all of the cute pictures!!

Mckinzee

She is funny. If ever you are having a bad day, all you have to do is listen to Mckinzee for a few min. She always has something funny to say. She loves being the center of attention. She also thinks that she is her mom's shadow. She has decided that this year she will be in the 8-9 year old class at chruch. She won't want her mom to be without her. Although we know that they sunbeams miss her. She is looking forward to going to preschool next year. She wants to be big like the other girls. However she is only little when it's to her advantage.

Madison

Need we say more. Madison is a highly energetic child. She loves being busy. She has completed Preschool. She is looking forward to going to Kindergarten. She's so excited that she will get to go 5 days a week. Her mom is too. Madi loves being Madi. She wants to know whats going on all the time. She also thinks that she is as big as her other sisters.

Sara

Sara has completed the 1st grade. She had an awesome teacher Mrs. Wilcox, who took Sara under wing and really taught her to fly this year. Sara now enjoys reading and school in general. She will truely miss it. But is also excited for summer. She loves swimming. If it were up to her we would be at the pool everyday. Sara has also become a big helper.

Ashlee

Ashlee has completed the 3rd grade. She's sad that school is out, but is looking forward to summer. She will be swimming and playing with her friends. She's looking forward to going to SLC for her 9th birthday. This is the first year that she will get to spend it with her Aunt Joyce.

Our Latest Event

We were coming home from a nice visit to Salt Lake. We had just spent a few days with Joyce. The time was going as normal, not real fast, but ok. When out of the blue we were hit from behind. Trent had slowed down because there was a roll over off to the side of the road, and the roads were slick. That's when it all happened. We are all ok. Thank Goodness. The girls were a little bit shook up but we expected that. The car as you can see will need some work done on it. But I guess that's why we all have insurance. I'll get the pictures that I have taken from Salt Lake and post them this week. Talk to you all soon.

Halloween

Ashlee, Madison, Sara, Carter, Madison, Linkoln. The whole gang. We all gather for pictures before going down to the neighborhood party. They ate hotdogs, and jumped in the bounce house. That was just the start to a great night of CANDY. Boy was it fun.

Ashlee Haloween

Ashlee was the hippy chick. She looked so cute in her bright colors. She could have really fit in back then. She loved how everyone told her how cute she was. She loved the candy, games, and ok everything. She was also a great help with the younger kids trick-or-treating. She always is willing to make sure that everyone gets involved in everything. Didn't want them to miss out on the fun.

Sara Haloween

Sara was Meraposia from Barbie this year. She was cute. She loved going and getting all of the candy, as well as just dressing up. She had a fun day at school full of games and playing, but best of all food. She loved trick-or-treating. She was real fast. I think she could have been done/or doubled what she had, if it hadn't been for us making her wait.

Madison Halloween

Madison was a princess for Halloween. At least that's what she was telling everyone. I was sure that she was the devil in disguise. She had a blast this year. She loved all of the attention that she received, as well as the candy. She could have stayed out all night.

Mckinzee Halloween

Mckinzee was our little puppy this year. As you can tell by the picture she love the head of it. Most of the time she was the headless dog. She had a lot of fun. Her favorite thing was going door to door and coming back and saying "Daddy they gave me more". She really got into it this year. She stayed out late, even longer then she wanted to. By the end of the night she was ready to go home. However sh could have eaten all of her candy.

Staheli Farm

The kids and I spent a few hours at Staheli Farm yeasterday. They got to see many animals, go in a corn maze, ride a train. And so much more. One of there most favorites was going down the slide into a big pile of corn. Madi enjoyed finding all of the pumpkin seeds. Kinzee really liked the cows. But she did say that they were really stinky.
We also got to spend time with our cousins and friends there too.
The nice thing for mom was by the time we left everyone was so tired. To bad the fell asleep in the car and didn't wait til we got home.

Ash Spends a few hrs in hospital

Well as luck would have it Trent, Coree, Ashlee and Sara all ended up with the flu last week. Ashlee was the first to get it. She was also the first to go to the ER. She got dehydrated and go get help. She was freezing and trying to stay warm. (As you can see in the picture). Sara also ended up there. Sara even got an IV. She wasn't real happy about it as you can imagine. But we are all over it now.

The Decker's

The Decker have been doing great. We went to Disneyland this past may. We all had a great time. It is a place that the kids really enjoy. We had the privilege of having Aunt Joyce come down and spend some time with us. The girls loved hearing her stories singing song coloring, and many other this with her. While Joyce was down we discovered that the flood in the master bathroom we had, had a week ago (don't know what the 2 year old put down the toilet) had gone into the master closet. So while Joyce entertained the kids mom and dad tore out carpet and cleaned up the closet. 2 days later the air conditioner leaked through the kitchen celling. So much to our surprise we spent more time with Joyce at the house then doing anything else. But boy were Trent and Coree glad she was there to help with the kids. We love you Joyce.
We would love to hear from everyone. Please let us know how you are doing.

Trent

Trent continues to work. He is an owner/partner in a pharmacy fill in agency. So if he's not working for Harmon's you can bet he is probably working for the business. He enjoys being a dad and loves to spend time with his 4 girls. He does feel a little out numbered, but knows that he can't change that. He does love have daddy's little girls though. Trent was happy to get to baptize his oldest daughter in July. Trent enjoys shooting, sleeping (which he doesn't get to do much) but most of all spending time with his family. Sorry no picture of Trent. Maybe soon.

Coree

Coree is a busy mom. The word stay at home does not apply to her at all. She also works a business called Tastefully Simple. Selling gourmet food that tastes great and is easy to make. This is her out. She gets to socialize as well as make a little bit of money. Coree and Trent will be going to Alexandria Minn. in August for National Conference. There is a link to her page on the blog. Coree also enjoys cooking and spending time with others. Sorry no picture of her.

Mckinzee

Mckinzee is 2. For anyone who has had a 2 year old that says a lot. She is also full of energy. She enjoys trying to keep up with her big sister. She knows that she is just as big as they are. She has started potty training. She will do this on her terms, and her terms only. So mom is just waiting until she wants to be consistent. She loves running around with just a diaper on in the heat. To her clothes are an optional thing. She loves swimming at her Nana's house. She swears that her and mom are still connected. (We are trying to convince her that were not.) She loves talking to everyone.
